Custom rigid boxes are more of a specialty item.  They are most easily described as Board game  or Candy boxes. 

They are also used in the publishing business as slipcases, and gift boxes in the retail industry.  One of our specialties is a unique one piece custom gift card box

Rigid boxes are typically wrapped with litho paper (printed or imprinted), specialty paper or even a foil.  They are usually rectangular or square in shape and come in sets with both a base and a lid.  We also offer eco-friendly solutions to choose from including 100% recycled, vegetable inks and biodegradable film laminate.
